For neighbors and helpers

When you evacuate, take neighbors who cannot evacuate alone with you.

Share evacuation plans in advance and check on them often.

How to prepare

  1. Know where to go and how

Find nearby shelters under "Shelters near me" on the Safety Korea website.

  2. Plan around when the typhoon arrives

Check its path and arrival time. You can get alerts in the Safety Dididimdol app.

  3. Pack an emergency backpack

Pack a flashlight and batteries, and fill the bathtub with water.

  4. Arrange who will evacuate with you

Do not wait to be told. Move early with a neighbor or family member.

  5. If water starts rising, go high at once

If water comes in, go to higher ground or a shelter right away.

  6. Turn off gas and the main breaker

Never touch electrical equipment with wet hands.

  7. Check in when you arrive

    Follow the shelter staff.

If you are cut off, contact 119
